Jack, who plays rugby, was hit in a tackle that pushed his last front tooth backwards and fractured the top of his jaw, so he came straight from the field to Greenfield. Dr Kate walks through his starting point — one loose and two missing upper front teeth, a cross bite and gaps in the lower front teeth — and the two-phase plan. Phase one used braces on the bottom teeth, removal of the loose tooth and two implants with a bone graft; after six months the implants were restored, and after nine months his braces came off. Jack, who is about to welcome a new baby with his partner, thanks the team and calls the journey worthwhile.
